Despite the lame intro, this is one of my favorite big band tunes to play. It’s Manteca, here played by the GRP AllStar Big Band. Great tune, great band, and the drummer is Dave Weckl, who is nothing short of amazing. The horn section is just cookin’. You should hear their version of Cherokee.
