This morning I got up and then went and demolished the old fireplace at the townhouse we’re renovating.
If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember the 64 ugly pictures of the place and then the 4-hour Kitchen Reno video.
Now I present for you a time lapse video of the removal of the old brick. We didn’t get the hearth out because it’s actually solid brick, so we’ll have to go Swiss cheese with the Hilti drill before we can bust it up.

Good Luck on the base. A brick chisel might work as well but not as fun as a JH
