RE/MAX Housing Market Outlook 2011
Straight up predictions of housing prices in specific cities are hard to come by. I’ve just read the 2011 RE/MAX Real Estate Forecast for Canadian Real Estate, and I’ll summarize it below (including the important graphs). If you’d like a copy of the full report, I’ll mail you a hard copy for free (or several copies if you’d like to send them to your JV partners and such) or you can download it here.
If you’ve surfed here looking for the price of your own home, you can signup for a free market evaluation on my main site. I can also refer you to a great REALTOR® in your community if you’re not from Edmonton.

This is one of the BS I’ve seen. According to the chart, house prices has been up since last year? WRONG. Exactly opposite
It’s been going down $20 -30K and still there are no buyers, I have friends lost $100K in recent years because of house prices drops. Not only him, the TREND is going DOWN. It could go down further due to the recent changes in mortgages by CHMC
Hi Scott,
I’m not sure you can call BS without specifying which city you’re looking at. I’m also still seeing lots of buyers here in Edmonton.
Did your friends actually lose $100k in cash, or just on paper?
