Remembering

Today is Remembrance Day, and it’s a day with significant meaning for both Megan and I. We both served in Air Cadets. More important than that, Megan’s dad served in the Army for nearly all of his adult life. Megan’s mom served until she had Megan.

Megan’s Dad loved his job. He did many overseas tours, including Afghanistan. Their family has lived all over the place. I have a lot of respect for him. In July 2007, not long after he returned from a tour in Afghanistan, he was killed in a motorcycle accident. Today is an emotional day for both Megan and I. This post is in remembrance of Bruce, and all the men he served beside.
